The majority of people within Network Marketing are encouraged to work with the traditional methods of marketing which includes contacting friends and family (warm list). Your trained to show the business model to as many people as you know with the hope some will join your opportunity.
Speaking from my experience my upline was adamant if I kept spending money on hotel suites to hold presentations, kept spending money travelling all over the place and kept spending time and money talking to people who have no interest in becoming a entrepreneur. If I continued doing this then eventually maybe I may get some people interested and then maybe hopefully I will start making some money. Within the next year or so I may recoup some of the costs that I have already spent.
I know exactly how hard it can be
“oh no I have completely exhausted my entire warm market list, no one has joined my business! What shall I do now”
“erm???? Well speak to your warm markets warm market (the friends of your friends) that should do it” is what my upline said.
The reality is 97% of people who make it this far will then most likely give up. How much more rejection and spending money will one person take before they say
“I cannot be bothered anymore, I quit!”
